Girls' Brigade

92nd Glasgow Company, Cadder Parish Church

The Girls' Brigade is a Christian organisation whose motto is to "Seek, Serve and Follow Christ". However, the Brigade is a broad church which values all and seeks to promote equality and diversity. It is open to girls and young women of all faiths and none.

In the 92nd, we meet on Tuesday evenings at the South Hall, 203 Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 2JA.

Sections are:

Explorers, Primary 1 to 3

6.15 - 7.30 p.m.

Juniors, Primary 4 to 7

6.30 - 8.00 p.m.

Brigaders, Secondary 1 to 6

7.00 - 8.30 p.m.

Our Leader in Charge is Isla Dick, working with an energetic and enthusiastic team of leaders.

We aim to provide a safe environment for girls to enjoy fun, crafts and games whilst forming new friendships. All this is achieved as we work through our badgework system which covers four main themes: education, service, spiritual, and physical activities.

The girls also have the opportunity to attend various events throughout the year, including a film night, sleepover, Christmas panto, and weekend camp for the Juniors and Brigaders.

Our session usually starts in mid-August but girls are very welcome to enrol at any time throughout the session.
