92nd Glasgow Company, Cadder Parish Church
Girls' Brigade Scotland
The Girls' Brigade is a Christian organisation whose motto is to "Seek, Serve and Follow Christ". However, the Brigade is a broad church which values all and seeks to promote equality and diversity. It is open to girls and young women of all faiths, or none.
In the 92nd, we meet on Tuesday evenings at our South Halls at 203 Kirkintilloch Road,Bishopbriggs, G64 2JA.
Our Leader in Charge is Isla Dick working with an energetic and enthusiastic team of Leaders.
The Company is split into three sections which meet at the following times:
Explorers - P1 to P3 | 6.15 - 7.30 p.m. |
Juniors - P4 to P7 | 6.30 - 8.00 p.m. |
Brigaders - S1 to S6 | 7.00 - 8.30 p.m. |
Our aim is to provide a safe environment for girls to enjoy fun, craft and games whilst forming new friendships. All this is achieved as we work through our Badgework system which covers four main themes of Education, Service, Spiritual and Physical activities.
We also offer an opportunity for girls to attend a Film Night, Sleepover, Panto and also Weekend Camp for the Juniors and Brigaders.
Our session usually start in mid August, but girls are of course very welcome to enrol at any time throughout the session.
